TROON IN PA's Story...

This is Troon - probably a Cairn mix - and he is a sweet boy looking for a loving home! His human daddy recently passed away, and one of the last things he did was to call Col. Potter to make sure Troon and his brother Jellicoe had a safe future. Troon is a lover! He loves attention from people, loves nothing better than to cuddle on the sofa, and he loves other dogs too! He even lets his foster brother (an 8-month old puppy) walk all over him. Troon has lots of energy, enjoys walks, and will play with balls and toys by himself to keep entertained. So, if you are looking for some lov'n and don't mind that he isn't 100% Cairn, then Troon may be the boy for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TROON IN PA, a Medina Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Medina, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Medina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medina paves the way for another one to be saved.
