My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Bella. I am 5 years old. I love spending time with my foster parents. I love to play with them and go on walks. Every morning when I greet my foster parents I have a toy in my mouth as I’m ready to play with them. I make all those fun bulldog noises especially during playtime! I sit nicely and give my paw for treats & for feedings. I walk on a leash well…in fact during walks I will walk on your right side and look up to you for direction/guidance. My foster parents say I’m a good girl because I do not jump, I do not chew on furniture, shoes, or get into anything laying around the house. I only chew on my toys. I also behave well when my foster parents are sleeping at night and while they work. While I don’t cuddle much with my foster parents I do give them kisses on their face to tell them I love them. . who wouldn’t want a kiss from this girl?
I am potty trained but once in a great while I may have an accident. Have I mentioned I love to play, play and play. I bring my foster parents toys and put them in their laps so they play with me. If they don’t want to play I remind them by giving them a nudge….Why would anyone not want to play with my adorable self…I mean who could resist me!? The next thing I love is going on walks-I love exploring the neighborhood. I meet a lot of people on my walks and others dogs too. I get on well with the other dogs but if they get in my face too much I may get a little grumpy. I do okay with stairs however if I do too many at one time I may get tired! My foster parents have a big backyard to explore which I love and am getting used too, as I lived in an apartment/condo before. With my previous owners I never used a crate however I am beginning to sleep in the crate my foster family gave me with the door open-it makes me feel safe and it is so comfy.
I love my foster family so much I want to protect them so I let out a bark if the doorbell rings or see someone that I don’t know walking by. When someone comes into the house I will let out a bark, go over to the new guest and sniff them…then about 2 minutes later I bring the houseguest a toy and demand they play with me!!! Because I am a bit protective of my foster family they think it is best if I am in a home with no other dogs or cats. Because I have so much energy when I play with my toys, my foster parents think a home with no children or an older child would be okay.
