Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am not a teapot, but I am short and my name is Stout. So nice to meet you!
This derp face is such a love!! If Stout were a person, he’d be the guy you call up to grab a “stout” with but he is a dog so he’ll be the guy who will go for a stroll and then cuddle up and binge watch some Netflix. Stout is a friendly 3 year old boy who snorts a little, loves to please and is all around a great dude. He is still learning to play with toys and takes all his toys into his crate. He loves his crate. His favorite things are a peanut butter Kong and a bully stick or just lounging outside. He is still learning about car rides but is getting better each time. Stout would do great with a female companion pup who can show him the ropes of a real forever life.
Stout was also part of the VALOR (VETERANS ADVANCING LIVES OF RESCUE - http://www.safehumanechicago.org/programs/valor-(veterans-advancing-lives-of-rescues) program while at the shelter. He learned sit, stay, watch me, wait and touch and made a ton of friends while helping veterans receive emotional healing.
Please contact Stout’s friends at info@savethepitbull.org to learn more about him and how to go about adopting.
*Due to the location of our volunteers, foster homes and training resources, all potential adopters need to be within 2 hours of Chicago or Peoria, IL.
Fostered in Chicago.
