Lucy is ready for adoption!
Please meet Lucy! Lucy is a 2 to 3 year old Dachshund mix and is only 7 and half pounds, who is wee wee pad trained and will also go outside. Lucy is currently living with 3 other dogs, and everyone gets along well, but she doesn't meet new dogs well. She does very well with dogs at the vets office. Lucy is your typical Doxie, all bark and no bite. When you come home she greets you as if she is on a pogo stick! She will sit on your lap all day if you let her. There is never a shortage of kisses with her. Lucy loves to sleep under the covers with you, but will sleep all night long on her own bed in your room and not move until you wake her.
Lucy came to us with a broken leg, and with many visits to the vet and a few months of healing time she is finally ready for a home of her own.
Lucy would love to have a fenced in yard to romp in, so that she can chase birds and butterflies freely.
