My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Originally named Lucky this charming, declawed stray tortie has captured the hearts of everyone who has met him, including the vet and staff that cared for him. He came to a doorstep as a skinny, matted but very friendly stray. Fortunately strangers that found him called our rescue so we were able to save him from the dangers of coyotes and all of the hazards a stray cat must encounter. After extensive bloodwork the vet found him to be remarkably healthy in spite of most likely being on his own for several very scary months. He was so matted that some of his beautiful fur had to be shaved off but that will grow back. He is with a foster who will help him gain some weight. In spite of all he has been through, Spirit is an amazingly affectionate and loving cat who would make a wonderful companion.
