Tucker's Story...
TUCKER is a handsome soulful standard schnauzer. He is just about 30 pounds. Tucker likes other dogs; we don't know about cats. He is 6-7 years old and has a medium energy level. He would love to take a nice walk or snuggle on the sofa. He would probably do best in a quiet home without very young children as their energy level might be too much for him. He would make a great companion, though, and deserves a wonderful loving home. He is scheduled to arrive in the Phila. area on 9/18 and we are taking applications for him now. Contact Patti at psquare828@comcast.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Media Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Media, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Media.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Media already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Media breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Media paves the way for another one to be saved.
