DOGGIE BIO:
Jenny is an approximately 1 1/2 years, brown, female Dachshund Chihuahua mix (chiweenie). She is a very sweet girl, but was treated poorly in the past so she can be a little nervous at first. She now comes when called and will even come in the house where previously she would not cross the threshold. She loves attention and gets along with all the dogs here. ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria for dogs that we adopt and that we recommend to owners whose doxies we list courtesy posts for, the sole aim of which is to facilitate a successful adoption with a forever family.
*Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? *Have a securely fenced yard? *We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and *Children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). *We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). *Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog.
Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these or similar issues.
