GISELLA ... is a 10.6 lb, cream/black, 2-3yr old, energized Shih Tzu!! She was a stray who just walked into a yard one day and decided to stay! Unfortunately, the "yard's family" were allergic to fleas (she was infested with fleas/ticks, stickers and other earthly matter! .....so again Gisella was homeless. Her skin was raw after shaving her down, but everything is calming down now. Once she was groomed, we learned she only had one good eye under all that hair!! Her eye was deformed at birth, so we had it removed to avoid any further infection. She is beautiful, happy, silly, loving and a kissyface girl! She would love to have a playful companion; she will be happy with a ton of attention -- canine and human!! Gisella will bark if she is left alone, so apartment living isn't the best suited for her. She does get a little fearful, so a home with older kids if any would be best. Once she knows you, the most harm she would do is kiss you to death!!
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
