Ikey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ikey's Story...

This tiny boy found himself in the scary shelter without an owner in sight. Ikey had not been well cared for in his previous life, however that is all in the past now. Ikey came to us underweight with sores all over his ears. Thankfully he is in one of our amazing foster homes who is tending to his every need, and he is looking so much better! Ikey would do best in a home on the quiet side as he can be very shy when meeting new humans.

Ikey is a 3 1/2 lb, 3 year old Chihuahua. His adoption fee is $250 and that includes his neuter, registered microchip, vaccines up to date and deworming.

Please complete our adoption application at if you'd like to meet Ikey!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ikey, a Irvine Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
