My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

November 2016: Now that we have gotten to know Hannah, we couldn't love this girl more!

Hannah is such a lovebug and benefits greatly from having other dogs or humans (or both) around a lot! She is a busy girl, like most herding breeds, and a big fenced yard would be her dream come true. She can be shy around adult male humans but does great with most all females. We haven’t seen her around kids much. She loves the dog park and doggy day care and gets socialization and exercise there. Hannah loves to play fetch and Frisbee and loves sticks and balls. She might be a good running candidate and we think she would excel at agility or other doggy sports.

Hannah is so smart and has been learning a lot of new tricks since being in foster care and she is awesome on leash. She will sometimes chew things if she is left out uncrated so a new family will take care to crate this cutie when she is alone.

This beautiful girl is a cattle dog who is about one year old. She was found by a vet tech who works with one of our southern partner rescues and Hannah was living with her and her family which includes dogs, cats and kids. Hannah loves everybody!

She is about 35 lbs, an adorable medium size girl! She is a healthy happy girl and is in foster care with us now. She is a bit timid with new people but is wonderful with other dogs. She's going out and about learning that new experiences are OK! Hannah's foster buddy was Yoshi, also a Lucky Pup dog who just got adopted. We think Hannah will be most comfortable with other dogs in her family, as she is more confident in that situation.

To learn more about Lucky Pup Rescue, please visit our website: www.luckypuprescue.org. If you have interest in any of our dogs, please fill out the application and we'll work with you to find a great match for your family: http://www.luckypuprescue.org/#!adoption-application/c1aw8.

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.

Thank you for considering rescue!
