Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LITTLE BIT is ready to find his forever home. He is a 4 yr old chihuahua who weighs about 8 lbs. Look at the smile on this handsome boy! Not too long ago he didn't have much to smile about. His mom suddenly passed away and left him and his housemate, Shorty, without a guardian. Fortunately, we were notified about their situation and were able to take them both in. Based on what we have seen Little Bit and Shorty get along ok, but are not a bonded pair so they can be adopted separately. In general, Little Bit is a "little bit" nervous, so we are looking to place him in an all adult home who will take time to build a relationship with him. He has been shown to get along ok with other dogs with a proper introduction. He will need a bit of work on his housetraining, but we think most of his accidents are due to him not being neutered when we got him. We are hoping to see some improvements after the hormones have gotten out of his system. He has some serious springs and can jump pretty high when he is excited. We think he might make a great agility dog! How fun would that be? Little Bit's adoption donation is $250, which helps cover the cost of his medical care.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the "Adoption Process" tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested ( as appropriate), fecal tested, and microchipped.
