Marianne's Story...
What a Princess! Gorgeous Marianne is a young, attention-seeking, curious girl. She adores head-rubs and laps. She will put her paws up on your lap to ask for affection, and reward you with energetic head-butts and purrs. Her enormous green-gold eyes will enchant you, while you admire that striking white coat, calico dapples on her ears, and calico tail. Marianne seems to like other cats, after a proper introduction. She always uses her litter box, appreciates a scratching post, and will allow you to trim her claws. In her foster home before moving into PetSmart, she was nothing but joy, sweet and easy to love. She will do best with cat-savvy adults and respectful children who can tell when a swishing tail means it's time for a break.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marianne, a Worcester Turkish Van cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Turkish Van cat from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
