MEET Mr. Miyagi….who looked like a shih tzu in the shelter but they shaved him and now he looks like a b/w Beagle!! This 8 lb, b/w, 4 yr “old soul” came from the Carson Shelter totally shut down. His sad eyes tell the whole story…we can only imagine what he has been thru.
It just melted our hearts when recently we saw him wandering around holding on to a toy! Then he made the cutest sounds…this boy just wants to love and get love. He gives sweet kisses to tell you how much he appreciates your attention. Right now, he is very calm and laid back and just beginning to blossom. We’ll keep you posted, but this shy boy will open your heart and those brown eyes will tell YOU what you need to know! Another dog in the home would be ideal….and gentle kids over 8 yrs old to pamper Mr. Miyagi and play with him would be wonderful. He aims to please….do you have space in your heart for this angel?
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
