George and Gracie's Story...
George and Gracie are a bonded pair that came to the shelter together. It would be heartbreaking to tear them apart, so an amazing volunteer has offered to foster them both! We're looking for a home that is willing to adopt both dogs so they can stay together. We're told by shelter volunteers that they are both sweet and friendly dogs - the sweetest pair that's landed at the shelter. They love to play and to cuddle together, and they do well with other dogs, too. If you are looking for two dogs with a great camaraderie, these are the pair for you! Gracie is the tan, scruffy Terrier mix; she's 2-3 years old and 27 lbs. George is the black and white Jack Russell mix who is also 2-3 years old and 34 lbs. You can receive the unconditional love of two dogs in one adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George and Gracie, a Chalfont Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Chalfont, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Chalfont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chalfont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chalfont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chalfont paves the way for another one to be saved.
