Pickles's Story...
Hi my name is Pickles. I am a 2-year-old, 11-pound Jack Russell Terrier mix. I was found in Big Canoe with Bucky. I am not nearly as confident as Bucky. I am shy and a little nervous of new places. Right now I am staying with my foster Mom in Tate. You will have to be patient me and give me lots of TLC. I am worth it as I can be a very sweet companion and like to be held by my human. My foster home has three other small dogs and we are learning to be a pack. Please call to make an appointment to see me. I need a stable loving environment and a family to call my own. Hugs Pickles
We prefer a home with children over the age of 5 who will be able to assist in the pet’s care. All of our dogs are placed as indoor family pets. No electric fences, please. Please visit our website to learn more about our rescue at www.bigcanoeanimalrescue.org and click on WANT TO ADOPT?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickles, a Big Canoe Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Big Canoe, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Big Canoe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Big Canoe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Big Canoe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Big Canoe paves the way for another one to be saved.
