"Hi, my name is DJ and I am a Cattle Dog, an awesome, loving sweet, fun, goofy and very docile boy. I love playing and am very obedient, I love the car, walks and the water! I love playing with other dogs but would probably be too much for cats. I love kids and strangers of any kind and am very athletic though I harness it well and also love to cuddle on the couch. I am crate trained and am generally quiet and love to give and receive affection, oh, and my foster mom says there is a guarantee on me...I will make you laugh all the time with my goofy antics!"
DJ is a great medium size at just under 60lbs and is 3 years old. He is house/crate trained and a very healthy boy who loves life more than any dog we have ever seen.
DJ is human like with his goofing around and loves absolutely everybody! He would love a home with a fenced yard or land, though he's ok in a crate all day while you are at work, he's a young Cattle Dog and we want him to have fun and romp on a daily basis. He is not a barker and more Lab like than herding dog. He loves the water like a Lab does and is never aloof with anyone, everyone is his friend. He is extremely eager to please and very submissive, he listens very well and seems to have been trained well prior to rescue. He was give up due to chasing cats but we think he'd only do that if he was bored, either way no cats for DJ, anything else is fine! He is very, very sweet, come meet him anytime!
