This handsome 5 year old Staffordshire/Boxer mix was found chained to a tree with his sister without food nor water. By the time the authorities were notified of this cruelty case, he was so weak he could barely walk. Zeus is now in a foster home and has blossomed into an amazing dog. His foster mom describes him as a great family dog. If you are looking for a companion to do things and hang out with, Zeus is the guy for you! Zeus loves people and hanging out with people. He is very smart, sweet, learns quickly, listens very well and is easily corrected (treat motivated). He is also great with kids. Zeus also loves cuddles on the couch, belly rubs, walks and chew toys. He knows what he can or cannot chew on. Zeus will also alert you when he needs something. He will stand by the door when he needs to use the bathroom, he will stand by the sink if he needs water. Zeus is however, not a fan of small animals, like squirrels and cats. Zeus is crate-trained and housebroken.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
