Spike: 6 yr old stag red male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 13", 17 lb. Fully vetted. Owner give-up.
"I had to find a new home, when my mom had to move. She had to move into a smaller place and had too many dogs, so I had to go. I am fun loving boy, who loves everyone I meet. I do great with dogs and kids. I am crate trained, and house broken. I love to be loved, can I come over to your house and be loved?
Please fill out an application for me; on it you can indicate that you are interested in me, Spike 030194."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike, a Syracuse Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Syracuse, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Syracuse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Syracuse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Syracuse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Syracuse paves the way for another one to be saved.
