Lilly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Lilly's Story...
Lilly is a 4 year old Golden Retriever/Spaniel mix who weighs 40 lbs. She is very sweet, affectionate, and loyal. She is a little leery and timid of strangers but once she gets to know them, she warms up. Lilly knows basic commands and is crate trained, housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a great car rider. Lilly would do well as an only dog or with one other young dog around her size. She does have a moderate amount of energy and we recommend older children 12+. A fenced yard is required. For more information or an application, please contact love2rescue25@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Charlotte Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
