My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born approximately May 7, 2016, Rheia is one of the 6 Greek Goddess kittens available for adoption. She is named after the Titan Mother of the Olympians because of her initial "tough girl" personality! She is one tough cookie, but once you gain her trust she's pawesome! Since she's been with us, she's softened up quite a bit. Rheia is initially shy with strangers, but once her trust is earned, he is very playful, will solicit affection, likes to be petted, and will snuggle on your lap.

Rheia would benefit from an experienced cat owner who is willing to give her the time, patience and space she needs to adjust to a new environment and family, and to allow her to be her true kitty self. Given the proper introduction, she adjusts well to living with other kitties and respectful dogs.

THANK MEW!

Before scheduling an appointment to meet with our rescue foster kittens, there is some information we must share with you. A large majority of the kittens we foster are former feral kittens (born in the wild with no human contact), and depending on at what age we trap them, and their individual personalities, they may or may not maintain some degree of their instinctive fear of humans after socialization. All of the behavioral descriptions of our kittens are accurate as it pertains to their behavior with their foster family. Their initial behavior with strangers is usually one of fear, wherein they will run and hide.

Be aware that this is only a brief, TEMPORARY state which will pass once they get to know you and your family and determine that you are not a threat to them. Once you make that connection, they will bond with you and your family, as they have with us. This may take some time and patience, but is well worth it in the end.

If you have the patience and are willing to take the time to allow a new kitten to adjust to a new home and family, and are willing to follow our instructions on how best to acclimate them to a new environment, then please complete our online application by clicking on this link (or copying and pasting it into your web browser's address field):

If your application is approved, we will then proceed with making an appointment for you and your family to meet with the kitten of your choice.

Thank mew once again for considering adoption!
