I am already spayed, purebred, and up to date with shots.
Hello my name is Rory and I was born in 2006. I am an 8 pound, red/fawn Chihuahua. Deer head. Not the apple head that most Chihuahua lovers desire. I'm going to start with all the good things I know and do. I love to eat, I enjoy treats, I like certain toys but I can't really pinpoint which ones I like since that can change on a daily basis. I enjoy time outside. I especially enjoy chilling in the sun. I am not fond of most other dogs so I will need a home where I will be the one and only. I have made friends with quite a few humans over the last couple of years and as I start trusting them it seems that I am more open with strangers. Now for the other side of me. In the past (not for over a year) I would chase the humans and act very menacing. There were times when I even nipped a few of them. I am older and much wiser now so I have pretty much stopped that behavior. I think I could be potty trained in the right home but as of today (10 seconds ago) I am still going potty inside. In my defense I always go on a potty pad. I am the dog who sits here week after week without an application or an inquiry. I think with the right human I could be the best dog here. I'm just waiting for Mr. Or Miss right. (I go both ways). If you think you could give me a home to call my own, a lap to sit upon and a face to lick - please go to: www.atailtotell.com and apply.
We are a group of volunteers dedicated to freeing dogs from puppy mills in PA. We are an all volunteer organization. We provide outstanding veterinary care - rehabilitation and lots of unconditional love to the dogs we rescue from the puppy mills.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fees range from $250.00 - $600.00 depending upon the age of the dog. A vet check - telephone interview and home visit is required for each adoption. We require the new family to complete our contract and we do expect our dog to be returned to us if an adoption does not work out.
