I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.
Hello! Are you looking for a sweet girl who likes to sit in your lap? Then I just might be the girl for you! My name’s Garnet and after playing like crazy with my foster brothers, I just want to curl up and cuddle with you. I’m looking forward to having a forever home – with or without other cats – where I can run around and be a crazy kitten ... but also curl up and hang out with you on the couch; I’ll even let you pick the movie.
Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. Our goal is to save as many pet lives as possible through rescue and to provide opportunities to the public to become better pet guardians.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets. We also have them with us at our outdoor events, so view our "events" calendar on our website for those dates and locations.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview. Our fees are usually $150 for dogs, $40 for cats. Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.
Thank You! Your message has been sent to Coastal Pet Rescue.
You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
