Hello there everyone! Picture this: Kitty on a Roomba! That would be me. My name is Versace, and I’m under a year old. I am available for adoption through A Tail of 4 Paws Animal Rescue. Vacuum cleaner, whatever. Carpet shampooer, whatever. I’ll just lounge around until the machine practically runs me over! I could care less! I’d love to find my forever home very soon. My kitty mom had to leave me and my 3 siblings way too soon, so we were bottle fed for a few weeks before we got to my current foster mom. Although my foster mom is great and has taught me a lot, it’s time for me to venture out into the big world with a family of my very own. My three siblings have already been adopted. I am very sweet and love to engage with everyone I meet. Whether that means I’m sitting all over you and licking your nose or running around chasing anything on the floor that moves, I am a people person kitty but can definitely keep myself entertained if you are away at work. I’ve been known to scare my foster mom’s visitors by carrying around my little grey mice (stuffed, of course) and showing them my treasures. Most of them are mortified and wondering if they should tell her that she has mice in her house. I specialize in batting them across the floor to convince her guests that mice are running around! My foster mom says I have bunny fur and am very soft. She is so right! I love to sit at the back door and watch the leaves blow around or watch the birds sitting on a birdfeeder. I will greet you at the door when you get home from a long day at the office. I will sleep right next to you at night, literally right on your face or chest. Isn’t that special?
I have foster brothers and sisters of the feline variety, and I get along with them just fine as long as they agree with me! In fact, I taught one of my foster sisters how to be a kitten. She was outside on her own, so she never really learned about people or how to ask for attention or play with toys. I’m downright proud of myself for that! I also have a German Shepherd foster brother that I love very much. He puts up with my antics and nibbles on me to the point where I am soaking wet with dog drool. Ugh. I would love to have some siblings, cats or dogs, to play with, but I would be okay being the only apple of your eye.
