Sweetie's Story...
I know there are people out there looking for a bit more mature dog. I have the name of Sweetie for a reason. I am smart, well behaved and just a sweetheart. I get along with all kinds of people and pets. I am a bit taller being a rat terrier and Italian greyhound blend. That means I can go on long walks on the beach or hikes with the family. Please come to an event and visit me and maybe even take me for a walk. All the details are on our website www.forgottenpaws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweetie, a San Marcos Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound for sale in San Marcos, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in San Marcos.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Marcos already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Marcos breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Marcos paves the way for another one to be saved.
