Important Note

Gator is best friends with Bug. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Hi This is Gator! He is in a foster home with my sister Bugg. The little girls who found them decided to name them after things you find in a pond. Tadpole, Froggy, Gator and Bugg. These two are the best of friends and would love to find a forever home together. That way Bugg can sneak up and pounce on her brother when ever she wants too!

We ask for a minimum adoption fee of $200, which includes their spay/neuter, rabies vaccines, 1st FRCVP shots, worming, microchips, and flea preventative, food, litter, and other medical treatment while in our care. This amount is BELOW our actual cost to do all of these things and we make no money on adoptions. They are fully vetted and can go home at the completion of a successful Meet n Greet with Foster approval, pending payment of adoption fee and possible home inspection. Contracting requires payment of the adoption fee, which can be paid in cash, money order, or paypal to
Gator is a little adventurer. He was the first to come out of their crate when I brought them home and the first to explore every inch of my house. He is also the cuddlier of the two. He often finds his way to my lap all on his own and will roll to his back to let me rub his fluffy tummy. Watch out though, if you get up for even a moment he will steal your spot on the couch!

Both Gator and Bug are fully litter trained, quiet at night, great with kids, not fond of dogs but will tolerate them as long as they are not too close

About Billy the Kidden Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

The mission of Billy the Kidden Rescue is to improve the lives of displaced cats and kittens, and reduce feral cat populations in Hampton Roads, by socializing outdoor-born and unwanted kittens for adoption into forever homes.
We specialize in TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) and feral kitten socialization. We provide "working cats" to farms, barns, breweries, warehouses, vineyards, and other places. We also help with lost cats and kittens, long term fostering, SELECT rehoming situations, cat behavioral and nutritional advice, and infant kitten rescue.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Donations can be made to the Billy the Kidden Rescue spay/neuter account at either No More Chasin Tails in Newport News (757-255-8804) or our general Billy the Kidden Rescue veterinary account at Acredale Animal Hospital (757-523-6100) or by paypalling us at or can be sent via mail to Billy the Kidden Rescue, PO BOX 16919, Chesapeake, VA 23328.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are available for Meet and Greets at their various fosters homes or at our cattery at Pups n Stuff in Virginia Beach for fosters who do not show animals in their home. Appointments must be scheduled in advance and a Board Member must approve all adoptions.
At Pups n Stuff, you can come see some of our ready to go adoptables. It is at 4330 Holland Rd. in Virginia Beach. The Store hours are Tu-Sat 12:00 - 8:00pm and Sundays 12:00 - 6:00pm Closed on Mondays. We do not have cattery staff on hand during all business hours. However if you let us know you are going we can be sure a staff member is there to meet you, so you can go in the cattery and play with the kitties! If you do go during a time when we aren't there you can look at the kitties through the window and pick up some of our information, but will have to come back actually play with them. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an adoption questionnaire to learn a bit about the home our rescue animals will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor only clause. We ask for a minimum adoption fee of $100, but frequently have specials of $75 for cats over 6 months old. Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along.
