Kicza's Story...
Hi, I'm Kicza (pronounced KEECHA) I'm 9 years old and am looking for my forever home. My family had moved overseas and I need to find a new home to retire in. I've lived with other cats and even a dog but I prefer being on my own. I never bothered with the dog but he made me a bit jumpy. Kids over the age of 6 are not a problem for me at all. I can start off a bit shy when I don't know you or my surroundings but I warm up quickly and love to be caressed and to cuddle up with my humans.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kicza, a Montreal Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Montreal, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Montreal.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montreal already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montreal breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montreal paves the way for another one to be saved.
