My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~adoption fee applies, if serious about adoption please email caarescue@gmail.com~

My name is BooBa, silly name I know … but did you know it means strong, patient, loyal and kind? Well at least that is what I imagine it would mean if my foster dad would allow me to do a google search for my name.
I am 1 year old and slightly underweight due to mal nutrition at 68lbs I still have to add on at least 5lbs to be healthy and still have my adult body to fill into so I will be a big boy once I get healthy
I was surrender to a pound on the North Shore by my guardian and they said I was hard headed and did not listen. I am not sure why they say that because with my foster dad I am very mindful and don’t get into any trouble.
I am good on walks and so far am proving not to be a “runner” as everytime I get a little bit ahead I always turn back around to make sure my foster dad is keeping up with me
I show no possession or aggression at this time in foster care
I do live with other large dogs and I get along great with them. I have also met other dogs on my walks and have been very happy to meet them
I display no signs of separation anxiety as I have been left along for a short periods of time with no destruction
I am clean in the home and do my business outside
I love to get treats and am gentle to take them so I think anyone who considers adopting me will have no problems to continue my education with positive reinforcement styled techniques so that I can grow up to be a good canine citizen. I am already on that path and would like to continue
I have not been tested with any cats or small animals although I did show some interest in them when I saw cats at the vet office so probably a home with no small animals will be best
I do like to jump up and say HIYA to give hugs and kisses so also best I am not in a home with young children because I could easily knock them over and hurt them accidentally and I would never ever want to do that. I love people to much to want to ever hurt anyone
So far I am not a big barker but who knows how that could change in the future because even though I am one year old I still have growing and learning to do so basically I am an oversized puppy! I am looking for an experienced guardian and best friend who will remain loyal to me for the rest of their lives come what may!
