My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ella Bellissimo was displaced during the Louisiana floods and sadly no one reclaimed her. She ended up in a shelter where she was treated for a back wound and received stitches. Sadly the shelter was already full to capacity and had no room for Ella Bella. It was determined that she was a senior, as she looks like she dipped her face into a sugar bowl, however, she is closer to 5-6 yrs old and we think mixed with Australian Cattle Dog and that's why she has the dappled muzzle. Seeing her sweet face on the many emails we received form the flood zone, we decided she deserved a second chance, therefore she was loaded onto a transport along with over 100 other lucky puppers headed to upstate NY. We met her in Tennessee where she happily jumped into the SUV, to finish the last leg of the journey to Hendersonville NC, occasionally resting her head on my shoulder as if to say "thanks" She is so very sweet and loving, has goofy moments, likes to lead you around by the hand, knows Sit, Shake and Speak. Will tell you EVERYTHING that happened whilst you were grocery shopping and SO very EXCITED that you are FINALLY home! She will happily greet other dogs, but seems to prefer small breed to larger ones and is of a dominant nature (Cattle dog!) and therefore would probably do better as the only child or especially only female. Kisses CATS on the NOSE! ....LOVES attention.....is very much a people person dog and will give you grief if you stop giving her a butt scratch before she is done! 77lbs House trained, spayed, UTD on all shots including rabies and microchipped, She does have a condition called Diabete Insipidis, which strangely, has nothing to do with diabetes, but she does take daily medication which costs $25 a month, she will need this for life but she has no problems with it. ...... She LOVES to ride in the car!! Walks very well on a leash and has impeccable manners! She is a great watch dog, not an excessive barker, but will alert you when needed, by barking once or twice to get your attention...but is NOT an outside only dog......would do best with someone home all day without children as they unnerve her. Give us a call, and come meet this beautiful Southern Belle, you won't regret it!! Home visit and vet reference needed (828) 697-5214
