Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Stella
Breed: German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Female
Stella is a young German Shepherd who is everything shepherd lovers love about this breed! Loyal, intelligent, protective yet friendly, she is the whole package when it comes to good dogs. Stella was reluctantly surrendered by her owners who couldn’t give her the exercise she needed to be happy. Stella was so riled up that she had started to spin and bite at her tail causing severe sores on it. What Stella needs to be successful in a forever home is an experienced, highly active home with at least one other large breed, playful dog to keep her busy. Running, fetch, training, agility, obedience work….this is your girl! She is not a one walk a day and she’s ready to relax kind of girl. She needs someone to commit to lots of exercise and training to keep her happy. She is incredibly intelligent and ready to learn anything you want to teach her. Stella requires a fenced yard or acreage for her to run on as well. She is housetrained, crates for the workday well, not a barker except when appropriate, not a chewer except on bones and toys (and the occasional shoe if it’s left lying around!), and minds her manners in the house well as long as she is tired out. Stella is best suited for a home with older kids (10+) who can take an active part in her training and exercise. She is not good with cats or small animals. She is 4 years old.
Requirements: Experienced, highly active home. No cats. Another dog in the home.
