Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Andy
Breed: Lab/Hound Cross
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male
Are you looking for a companion for another playful dog? A kid's best friend? May we introduce....Andy! Andy is a hound/Lab mix who blends easily the goofy personality of the hound dog with the loving, people-oriented personality of the Lab. He loves everyone and he makes friends instantly with everyone he meets, human and canine alike. Andy would absolutely be in heaven in a home with another dog friend but he would be equally happy with some kids or just as an active companion to go on adventures with. Andy is pretty much game for anything. He is housetrained on a schedule, crates for the workday well, and minds his manners as well as can be expected from a young dog. He needs some training but his mind is sharp and he will do anything for food so his responsiveness to learning is absolutely off the charts, just needs someone to put in the time and effort. He is an active boy who loves his walks, dog park time, and playtime so he wants a home who either has a fenced yard to help burn his energy or who is committed to putting in the time and effort to get his energy out. His outgoing, enthusiastic personality endears him to everyone he meets. Andy came into rescue heartworm positive but has been treated successfully and will have no lasting effects from it.
Requirements: No special requirements.
You can email laurahhk9@gmail.com with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.
