She may be all dog, but Nala does resemble her namesake, a regal leader from “The Lion King,” in many ways.

How exactly is Nala like the lioness queen of Pride Rock? Like the beloved character, she is:

* Brave—Despite being abandoned by her owners when they moved, Nala still loves people. She offers friendship to all she meets, including humans of all ages, dogs, and cats.
* Wise—Nala shares food and toys nicely with the other dogs in her foster home. She walks well on the leash, never jumps up, rarely barks, and sleeps quietly in her royal chambers (aka crate).
* Striking—She shares the beautiful coloring of her namesake.
* Fun— This girls loves to play fetch and has learned to swim. She even has her own life jacket!
