Cooper's Story...
Cooper has the opportunity to travel to Wisconsin on December 10th!

Meet Cooper. This precious 7 month old boy was living with all of his siblings in a grocery cart on the streets of Houston. A very special homeless woman had saved the mother and then mommy had these cuties. The only place that their human mom could keep them safe was in an abandoned grocery cart. What was amazing is that these precious pups stayed in the grocery cart and never wandered! It's time though that this beautiful boy find his forever family. He is ready to call your home his home!

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
