Olivia's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING Olivia is our comeback kid! She came to us with several medical needs, but cooperated totally as one by one we healed her. Olivia love love loves people. Obedient, somewhat submissive, interested mainly in pleasing her human(s), Olivia waits for a family who wants these qualities in a dog. Olivia is very dominant with other dogs so we are hoping to find her a home with no other dogs. She might be able to live with a submissive male, but we'd need a thorough dog test for that. If you would like to be considered for Olivia, contact Beth for an application at kaya1227@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Frederick Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
