Sam's Story...
N/M, 4 years old, Lhasa Apso Mix, 17lbs
Hi, my name is Sam. I am a very sensitive and polite pooch who came to MaxFund from another animal rescue organization. I am a little frightened, but the volunteers and staff have treated me so well here at MaxFund. I hope you will like my new hairdo....when I came to MaxFund my hair was horribly matted, so I got a hair cut and I feel soooooo much better!! As with all haircuts....we always say "it will grow back" and this time without mats!
I love to go for walks and sometimes I walk with other dogs from the shelter. I am still afraid of loud noises so please be patient with me. Speaking of loud noises, this small dog room can get pretty noisy so it will be great to find a forever home that is more quiet. I am a very trusting guy who just wants to find a home that I can call my own along with a companion that I can love and will love me back. I am not sure how I get along with cats and kids. As I said before, I get along with most of the dogs here, so I might get along with other dogs too.
I hope you have time to come visit me. Please come up to me slowly and then we can go for a walk. Once you see how sweet I am, I think there is a good chance that you may fall in love with me!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Denver Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Denver, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
