Meet Flicker! She’s one of the sweetest girls you could ever meet and would love to call your home hers! This cutie was a rescue from the “mean” streets of Philadelphia where she was found wandering in a rough neighborhood. Thankfully, she made it out of there and she left her life of puppy-making days to finally become the swinging, single girl she deserves to be.

Flicker is approximately 5-6 years old, weighs about 45 pounds, and has recovered well from a minor itchy skin condition that she developed during her past life. She may have a few scars where the hair hasn’t grown back, but those take nothing away from her sparkling smile and happy attitude.

Flicker appears to be a beagle/lab mix and has the cutest hound-mix swagger you've ever seen…just wait until she starts to run and play and see if you don't laugh!

She is dog-friendly, cat-friendly and has done well around the children she has met as well. Please consider adding this former street-smart city girl to your happy home!

Flicker is currently in our HOPE Dogs Prison Program learning basic commands. You can follow her progress here: http://hopedogs.org/hope-dogs/current-parolees/99-flicker.html

Flicker is spayed, current on vaccines, crate trained, on monthly flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, and she's microchipped.

About Furry Friends Network - Dog Adoptions

About Our Rescue Group...

Furry Friends Network is a non profit, all-volunteer animal adoption organization. Our philosophy is to help those animals that did not ask to be born, that are often the result of human ignorance. Any animal, no matter its age, can offer love and companionship to the right person.

Furry Friends Network is not a shelter, but instead uses a foster home network to house the animals until permanent, indoor homes can be found, offering second chances at lifetimes of love and happiness.

Convenient times can be scheduled to meet all others once your application has been processed.

Our Adoption Process...

Furry Friends Network's adoption process consists of four steps:

1. Complete and return an adoption application. Our volunteers then review the application and contact you. Mail "printable" adoption applications to:

Furry Friends Network
Adoption Applications
P.O. Box 519
Boiling Springs, PA 17007

2. The application process consists of contacting your personal and veterinarian references, contacting your landlord (as applicable), a personal interview and a home visit. The process will take approximately 2 weeks.

3. If your application is approved, a meet-n-greet with the animal and his/her foster family will be set up.

4. Finally, if it is a good match for both the animal and the applicant, a contract is signed and the animal officially has a new home.

If you have any questions or have trouble with the online application, please email us at ffnapplication@gmail.com.

Our online dog adoption application is available on our web site, Online Dog Adoption Application.
