Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bio info
Male 5 years old - one home since a puppy, raised with 2 kids 5 and 9 months.
50 lbs low energy dog. Love bug, loves to hang close to his people. A play in the yard or walk is all he needs, but he can keep up if you are doing something fun!
He plays well will other dogs - big and small. If they don't want to play he just leaves them alone. He does the same with cats too.
Likes to snuggle up while you read or watch a movie. Does not over eat but loves treats and chewies. Chew toys like antlers and horns. Loves to play fetch (inside or out). Knows is basic commands. Does sit and down well - leave it for anything, STOP is a word we use to stop moving when outside or inside. He checks in with his human a lot when he is outside.
Not a big barker but will alert. Gets excited when meeting dogs in public if allow. But will restrain if ask. Used to jump on people when they entered the house but was standing back away from door at mine.
Learns fast and will work around any distraction - even dogs barking and wanting to play with him outside -- for treats !! Offer him one .. say sit and focus and he will look you right in the eye until he gets his treat.
He has the boxer face under that scruffly look - check out his jowls and lips. He also sits up like a boxer. He loves to sit in people chairs - preferably with a human to lean on but on his own is good too.
100% house trained, no peeing or pooing in the house. Only seen him try to mark .. immediately after another dog outside in the park.
Love him to death .. he is a terrific dog. Would be great for a single person or family. If you had a yard he could run around in and you would plya ball with him in .. he is good. One walk a day does it. He works well off leash. I think once he gets comfy he would do well off leash with anyone. I used an 18 foot leash and he liked to wonder around but after so much sniffing, he was hanging back with me.
