My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Freda!

We found Freda together with her three puppies dumped in a park, happily greeting our street team volunteers. They were all underweight and had skin infections. This location had already been on our radar as we suspected someone was abusing homeless dogs in the park. Freda and her babies were all very friendly and excited to finally be able to fill their tummies with some food. Obviously we could not leave this little family in this park. They were way too friendly and too vulnerable. We believe she was owned at some point in her life as she is very outgoing and well behaved.

Freda is a happy-go-lucky girl. She currently lives in a foster home and has adjusted very well. She is house trained already, walks well on leash and is just enjoying life like never before. Her nickname is Wiggle Butt. She just loves any attention she gets, whether you give her a belly rub or just talk to her. She listens very well, is friendly with all people and gets along well with other dogs. She is quite a love bug and will melt in your hands. Her number one favorite thing to do is to romp around with her furry foster brother who is her new best bud. When Freda is not playing with him or not cuddled up with her foster mom you can find her outside in the yard sunbathing...her second favorite thing to do.

Freda is about 3 years old and weighs 40 pounds. She said she is ready for her forever home, now that all of her babies have been adopted. She wanted us to let you know that she has only one request: you have to be willing to let her be your loyal friend until the very end.
