Jake's Story...

Jake is an playful and affectionate, 7-month-old, neutered, orange tabby with a dapper white bib and white paws that seems to charm everyone he meets. If you have company over, he will come right out and say hello while he is checking them out and then lay down next to them. Jake is a super sweet and confident boy who loves to lounge next to you and enjoy a good rubdown. When he is not following you around full of wonder, he is able to entertain himself with toys or take a catnap. Jake thinks it is so much more fun when he has someone to play with. He is currently in a home with two Pit Bull mixes and he runs the show. Jake would do well in a home with a balanced playful dog that can put up with kitten antics or a friendly cat to play with. He has been neutered, micro-chipped and is a healthy boy that would love to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Yorba Linda Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Yorba Linda, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Yorba Linda.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yorba Linda already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yorba Linda breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yorba Linda paves the way for another one to be saved.
