Rocky's Story...
Rocky is a 9 year old tiny male Chihuahua. He is a neglected dog who was dropped off in a Good Samaritan's yard. The guy that dropped all these Chihuahuas off was pissed because his wife left him. They were all pets and then he just disbursed them all over our area so there's no telling what happened to them before he dropped them off. There were originally 7-8 of them. The county had enough evidence to charge him. But, did not.

Rocky is skiddish and takes a while to warm up to people. I wonder why? He has aggression towards male dogs because he had to fight for food in his former home. He will be a great dog for someone that has patience and can show him what love is!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Blountstown Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Blountstown, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Blountstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blountstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blountstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blountstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
