Smores's Story...
Hi. My name is Smores. I am a female black and white boxer mix. I am a full grown adult female and under a year old. When I came to the rescue I was extremely thin and I came with my mom and my siblings. I am so glad everyone has found homes. I am okay. I am in a foster home with two adults and a couple dogs. I am no longer thin. My foster parents are amazing. They helped me to gain weight. I have also gained confidence Before I was afraid and unsure. Now when people come over to visit I am first in line to see about getting pets and hugs. I am a great looking black and white female. If you are a boxer fan, you want to meet me....

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smores, a Broken Arrow Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Broken Arrow, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Broken Arrow.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broken Arrow already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broken Arrow breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broken Arrow paves the way for another one to be saved.
