Marta's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Marta's Story...
If you like your kitten to stay small, Marta is a kitten for you. She is 8 months old and pretty tiny.... we think she will remain small. Marta was rescued from a kill shelter along with her siblings. Originally she cam from a home with - too many cats and kittens. Perhaps for this reason she adores cats and kittens, loves people and loves snuggling with both species!

Marta is 8 months old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and awesome. She tested negative for FIV and FELV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marta, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
