Blanca's Info...

I am in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Blanca's Story...
Blanca, and her sister GrayC, were abandoned. They are wonderful kittens, but Blanca is a bit shy. She needs her sister GrayC, to help her adjust to a new home here at the sanctuary. We would like them to be adopted together, for Blanca's sake. They were estimated to have been born 6/8/16.

Blanca is a short hair white female, with a splash of grey on her head, to match her sister. GrayC is a long hair grey female. Both are still adjusting to being at our sanctuary where they are fed, and safe.

Blanca has been tested for feline leukemia/FIV, received her first and second kitten vaccines, her 1 year rabies vaccine, treated for fleas and wormed. She will need final feluk kitten vaccines, and spayed, all when she is old enough. We offer an adoption package to take care of these expenses.

All adoptions are made by appointment only, with prior verification of a veterinarian reference. We require a cat carrier be brought to the adoption appointment for transport, no exceptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blanca, a Ashland Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ashland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Ashland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashland paves the way for another one to be saved.
