Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clary is around 3 years old and weighs in at about 27 lbs. She is a very sweet and happy girl. She does seem to be fearful of men and may even growl at them. Growling is just a way of her saying, I'm not ready to be friends yet. But if they let her warm up to them at her own pace (which could take more than a few days), she is never aggressive and does learn to trust men. She loves playing with her foster brother as you can see in her video but even more than that, she LOVES getting attention from her humans. She doesn't like to be manhandled (who does?!) so a home with older children and adults who understand this would be best for Clary. House trained, crate trained, a snuggler AND cat friendly, what more could you ask for from a girl!?!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Double Event Weekend! First, CPR with be with North Shore Animal League on Friday, December 30rd at Petland in Southbury, CT from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be hosting an open house at their adoption center in Southbury, CT on Saturday, December 31th from 10am-2pm. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend! **Note: There will be NO event Sunday, January 1st in honor of the New Year holiday**
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog tested positive for heartworms and has already undergone treatment. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
