I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with dogs.
Pretty came into our shelter as an owner surrender. She is a sweet dog who loves being the center of attention. She would be perfect for a low energy household with no other dogs. She is a senior and is looking to find her perfect forever home. If you'd like to come visit her, please call us at (505) 926-9013.
We are a Animal Control Agency that operates a small shelter. A large part of what we do is placing animals if forever homes. We have outside adoptions at businesses around town and participate in adoption events. Our main event is Woofstock Pet Expo & Adoption Festival. The date for our 2016 event is still TBA.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our new shelter is located at 16 Municipal Way off of NM 344 in Edgewood. Make a left on Municipal Way from NM 344. You will see the SF County Fire Station, also on the left. Follow Municipal Way all the way down. We are situated right next to the Edgewood Police Department. Our hours are Mon-Fri 10 AM-4 PM and Sat 10 AM-2 PM. Please call first, as we may be in the field. We have special adoption events throughout the year at local businesses. Our main event is the Woofstock Pet Expo & Adoption Festival which is in August.
To reach our shelter directly, please call (505) 926-9013.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process is on a first come first served basis. After selecting your forever companion, fill out the adoption form and pay the adoption fees. Adoptions require only a $25.00 refundable sterility deposit. A free wellness check for all animals at one of 5 local veterinarians. Micro chipping available for $20.00 including registration.
