Hershey's Story...
Hershey is ready for her new home! She was surrendered after her former owner could no longer care for her. She is incredibly sweet, loves to play and is great with other animals!

Hershey is very laid-back and approximately 10 years old. She weighs about 14 pounds and is currently being treated for a small corneal abrasion. Hershey prefers lounging in her bed and taking afternoon naps in the sun. When she's feeling playful, she'll romp around for just a bit, before settling back in for quiet time.

Please note that this particular breed does require regular grooming. Hershey has been spayed, fully vaccinated and tested heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $80. For more information, just give us a call!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hershey, a Germantown Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
