Hello, look into my eyes and tell me you don't want to take me home. My name is Sophia, I love to be with my person, and I love to play with other dogs. I attend doggie daycare and I am very well behaved. They tell me I came into the shelter as a stray and that a local rescue group came and got me because I had some medical issues. Well let me tell you that I don't know what that means, but I am healthy now and can't wait to find my own family to make all my dreams come true. I will be your loyal companion and help you up when you are down, after all my name is Sophia Petrillo, after a Golden Girl or something my foster mama tells me. I love to share my life with everyone!

About A Chance To Bloom

About Our Rescue Group...

CTB is a 501(c)(3) organization with one goal – giving shelter dogs a chance to blossom into family companions.
We are a dog rescue based in Conroe, Texas, with foster volunteers located in surrounding areas. By foster, we mean that there are loving people who willingly take in these beautiful transient creatures and do their very best to provide them with safety, security and love. If we do not have a foster we have a daycare/boarding facility that houses, socializes, provides love and attention, as well as working with a trainer to maximize adoption potential.
We are a fairly new rescue and we have already saved dogs from euthanasia, many of them simply because of their breed, their age, physical disabilities, illnesses, their time is up at the shelter, or for no other reason than they get overlooked time and time again in the overpopulated shelter, that is the core of why we do what we do. While we openly take in dogs who are in good shape, our focus is on saving those who are most likely to be thrown away, abandoned, unloved, and never given the chance to blossom. This organization was founded on the principle that all life is precious and should be given the chance to be loved, cherished and cared for. We are always looking for volunteers and fosters, transporters to help get the dogs to offsites and many other opportunities. If you would simply like to donate to the cause that is always appreciated as well!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs go to several adoption events throughout the year, please check our website for all the events that our dogs will attend. We also set up meet and greets at Dogtown Texas in Conroe Texas.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process is an application, a meet your match survey, a home check in some situations(depends on dog), the fee is $150 for under a year old, $125 for over a year old. We require a contract to make sure there is never a rehoming, a sell, or that our dogs are not returned to us if something happens.
