Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Coco! Coco is a four year old, nine pound Chihuahua that was rescued as a stray in Kentucky. This handsome gentleman is looking for a home with a few other dogs and humans he can be with much of the time. He loves to be with his humans and wants to know where his human parents are
when you are in different parts of the house. He also takes his cues about how to welcome you home and how to receive petting from other dogs in his foster pack. He is a little shy about being loved on,
but really wants to learn to be petted and held, he allows us to pet him and love on him for short periods of time, then suddenly isn’t so sure about the activity. He does an adorably awkward attempt to scramble up into your arms when you say “up up,” and loves to cuddle with you under the covers at night. He can be a little bossy to new humans who visit, but listens to commands to stop or to come very well.
He is good with cats. Although he occasionally wants to chase the cats and boss them into behaving, he does not try to hurt them. He is great with other dogs his size, but has not been around bigger dogs here. He does have a desire to mark his territory, and will need patient humans willing to deal with ways to manage that behavior. He is a love bug waiting to blossom, and deserves a wonderful home with people willing to love him back into being the little loveable gentleman he wants to be!
