Here is a little more about Rubie's from her foster family:

"As precious as her name Rubie is a perfect example of what's right in this world. Even though her owner of 8 years dropped her at a kill shelter and left without a good-bye Rubie is still full of love and kisses. After only a few short hours she was already cuddling with her foster mom and snoozing comfortably on her new doggie bed (probably the only one she's ever had). Very little interest in toys and mostly indifferent to other dogs it is believed she'll do best in an house where she is the only dog and can get lots of attention. UTD on shots and housebroken she would be great with kids over 13 that can be gentle and loving with her. Would you please open your heart to this little gem?"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rubie, a Hawleyville Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Hawleyville, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Hawleyville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hawleyville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hawleyville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hawleyville paves the way for another one to be saved.
