My story

And a chip chip Cheerio! Cheerio is one handsome 4 year old, brown tiger fella! He is a friendly guy who enjoys being pet, but he does not like to be picked up and will give you a little nip if you try. It is for this reason that we cannot adopt him into a home where children live or visit frequently. That being said, Cheerio has been staying in the home of one of our awesome foster families. He has been making great progress, and is almost to the point where he is turning into a lap cat. Cheerio would do great in a home with another cat or two and even a cat friendly dog. Cheerio is generally a cool cat, and his behavior can be managed in a calm and quiet home. He is religious in the use of his litter box, and uses the scratching post for exercise. He just needs a home where he is understood and respected. There are plenty of times when he will approach you to cuddle or play. We realize that Cheerio is not the perfect cat for everyone, but that there is someone out there who is his perfect match. This fella has so much love to give, and we are willing to wait for the adopter who is the perfect fit for both themselves and Cheerio. Are you cat savvy and want to add this boy to your home? Cheerio is currently taking a break from shelter life and is staying with one of our wonderful foster families.
