Tease not only has striking looks, his personality is just as unique. He is a young boar so he has plenty of energy to devote to his cage laps that he runs each day. He also likes to perch on top of his pigloo and snooze. His time before arriving at OCCH was a bit rough so he tends to scurry away when the cage is approached. You can see him figuring things out so we expect it won't be long before he's accepting a shoulder scratch when passing by the cage. If you are looking to pair your lonely boar, Tease may be a good match.
Orange County Cavy Haven is a non-profit organization dedicated to rehoming guinea pigs in Southern California. We rescue abandoned guinea pigs from shelters in Orange and Los Angeles counties.
Our guinea pigs are rehabilitated, socialized, and fostered by volunteers until they are ready to be adopted.
Orange County Cavy Haven was founded in 2003 as a rescue for guinea pigs. Although we are based in Orange County, we rescue guinea pigs from L.A. and Bay Area shelters as well. We also have foster homes in L.A. County.
We are always in need of new foster homes. Please email to find out more info about fostering for our rescue. To find out more about our rescue, visit out website.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
